Town to remember the Fallen on Sunday

Lurgan will remember the Fallen on Sunday with the annual remembrance service at the war memorial and Shankill Parish Church.

As usual those taking part in the parade are asked to assemble at the Royal British Legion on Union Street for 10.15am,

The parade will follow its usual route along Union Street into High Street, Market Street and Church Place where there will be the act of remembrance and wreath laying ceremony.

The parade will be led by the Salvation Army Band.

Wreaths will be laid on behalf of the Royal British Legion, local council, ex-service organisations, emergency services, schools, sporting organisations, clubs and societies and individuals.

The Deputy Lord Mayor Paul Greenfield will lay the wreath on behalf of the Council.
