Town’s street art exhibition

AN art exhibition in the town’s Linenhall Street, has been creating a lot of interest.

The unique and appealing exhibition of prints of artwork by students of the Northern Regional College, on the theme “aspire”, is exhibited on windows of vacant properties and brightens up the environment of the street.

The exhibition was organised by Ballymoney Regeneration Company in association with the Northern Regional College.

Speaking on viewing the exhibition after it was erected last week Council Development Chair, Councillor John Finlay, said:

“It is a creative and fun way to brighten up the urban environment and I congratulate the Regeneration Company on its initiative and the college and the artists for their participation”.

Further details about the exhibition is available from the Borough Offices Riada House and from Ballymoney TIC at the Town Hall.

The initiative has already received further enthusiastic support from The Toon art classes. Their contributions will be added soon.
