Townswomen are given tips on pest control

February’s speaker was Alan Forbes who was accompanied by Billy Rea, from Hygiene Zone, Banbridge.

Alan, with the use of a powerpoint display, explained that there are three different keys to pest control - Exclusion, Restriction, and Destruction.

Most of Hygiene Zone’s work is proactive, with regular, planned inspections being carried out.

Alan and Billy were thanked by Attracta O’Hagan for a very informative, if at times - rather gruesome - talk!

Supper was served by Elizabeth Bristow and Maureen Anderson, which included lovely little Valentine cookies baked by Hilda Kyle.

The ballot was won by Laureen Beckett.

The March meeting will be the AGM, with a ‘Bring and Buy Sale’. Visitors will be made very welcome.
