Traffic calming at Annaclone is welcomed

“Following representations Roads Service have advised that the Traffic Calming measures currently underway at Annaclone should be completed before the end of this financial year.

“I have been working on the delivery of this scheme with councillor Seamus Doyle and news that it will soon be completed is very welcome.

“This traffic calming scheme will greatly improve the safety of local residents, school children, pedestrians and road users in the area. This is quite an extensive scheme and it is vital that road safety remains a priority. We must ensure that everything possible is done to protect pedestrians and road users in our local communities.”
