Translink briefing for East Londonderry and North Antrim representatives

Local Translink bus and rail managers have engaged directly with political representatives to discuss passenger transport in East Londonderry and North Antrim.

The special ‘Meet the Manager’ event provided a platform for discussion around a range of transport matters including: bus and rail service performance, the arrival of new Goldline coaches, engineering works on the Londonderry railway line and the new rail timetable development.

Speaking at the event, Jane Kerr, Translink Assistant Service Delivery Manager, said: “These sessions are invaluable in terms of providing local representatives with an update on local bus and rail services. We were pleased to welcome both MLAs and councillors onboard one of our new Goldline coaches which offer superb passenger comfort, accessibility and reliability.

“We also advised stakeholders about ongoing rail engineering works and developments in the finalisation of a new rail timetable. We would once again like to thank local representatives for attending this Meet the Manager session and ask for their continued support as we work hard to deliver attractive services for everyone,” added Jane.
