Translink launches a special £1 Lisburn fare

TRANSLINK has introduced a special £1 cash single fare and 50p child fare for journeys on Ulsterbus City Services in Lisburn throughout the month of June.

The special rate is valid on all Ulsterbus City Services running Monday to Saturday from June 1 onwards.

Jim McCauley, Translink Lisburn Service Delivery Manager commented: “The special £1 Lisburn fare is fantastic value for passengers, saving them up to 70p per journey. Through this special rate we want to encourage people to save money on fuel, parking and on time by travelling hassle-free and leaving their car at home this June.

“We have recently launched our new ‘Let’s Save Together’ campaign highlighting the ‘good value’ across Translink services and will be issuing 30 lucky passengers on 1st June with complimentary uploaded day ticket Smartlink cards. If passengers use Smartlink cards rather than paying by cash they can take advantage of discounted travel everyday - not limited to any promotional period.”

Bus drivers will also be selling special discounted Smartlink TravelCards for £2 throughout June.
