Translink's Easter treat

TRANSLINK is advising passengers to familiarise themselves with the Easter holiday timetable arrangements.

Its website gives details of services that may be of interest, including:

n NI Railways will operate a Saturday service on Easter Monday (5th April) and Tuesday (6th April) with Special Family Trains operating between Belfast and Londonderry to Portrush.

Special family trains will leave Belfast Great Victoria Street at 10.15 and Londonderry at 09.40.

The return journey will be at 4.15pm and 5.07pm respectively.

n Ulsterbus: will operate a special holiday timetable on Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday.

To ensure that all passengers enjoy a relaxed and comfortable journey experience, Translink NI Railways says it is reminding passengers that alcohol is not permitted to be carried or consumed onboard any NI Railways service.

Translink adopt a zero tolerance policy to all antisocial behaviour and appeals to passengers to act responsibly on or around railway property and to adhere to the rail bye-laws relating to alcohol.
