A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The partial road closure on the A2 Coast Road at Glenarm (The Cloney) will be lifted at 10am on Tuesday, March 24.”

A section of the carriageway between Glenarm and Carnlough was closed last month after a landslide approximately one mile north of Glenarm.

The Department stated the landslide was caused by “record February rainfall.”

DfI Road engineers have conducted repairs to stabilise the area and make safe for the road user.
