Advice issued as traffic lights out in Carrick

Motorists are being advised to approach the Victoria Road/Larne Road junction in Carrickfergus with care due to a fault with traffic lights in the area.

Commenting on the issue, a Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “In Carrickfergus, the traffic lights at the junction of the Victoria Road and the A2 Larne Road (near Downshire Station) are currently not working.

“They are actioned for repair. Until then, approach with care and be prepared to stop/give way.”
