Ballyclare road closed overnight for works

The road will be closed from the Ballyrobert Road Roundabout to the Hillhead slip road.

The closure will commence at 8pm on Tuesday, June 30 and will end at 6am on Wednesday, July 1.

A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said the closure is requred overnight only for resurfacing works.

An alternative route of A57 Templepatrick Road, Station Road, Ballyclare Road/Doagh Road, The Square, Main Street, Ballynure Road, Hillhead Road, Hillhead Road slip road and vice versa has been suggested.

The work is being carried out by a DfI Roads contractor.

Road users are advised to expect an estimated delay of five to 15 minutes.
