Ballyclare road to be closed for works until July 10

A section of the Ballyeaston Road is closed.

The Ballyeaston Road will be closed from its junction with the Victoria Road to the junction with the Ballycorr Road.

The work is due to be completed by 6pm on Friday, July 10.

Commenting on the scheme, a Department for Infrastructure spokesperson said: “The closure is required continuously for watermain replacement. The work is being conducted by a Northern Ireland Water contractor.”

An alternative route of Victoria Road and Rashee Road has been suggested.

Road users are advised to expect an estimated delay of between five and 15 minutes.
