Carrick’s St Brides Street crossing ‘a timely improvement’
Carrickfergus Road Safety Committee has welcomed the provision of a new pelican crossing on a key route to the town centre.
The committee says the provision is timely and an improvement from the previous crossing at St Brides Street.
Chairman David Hilditch said: “I would like to thank all the members of the Carrickfergus Road Safety Committee for their support and the Department for Infrastructure for fulfilling the project.
“With the dark evenings once again approaching hopefully the community will benefit from the improvement.”
