Detailing the incident, a Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “A lorry has shed part of its load on the M2 city bound before the off-slip at junction 2 Greencastle.
“A number of vehicles are on the hard shoulder in this area due to being hit by items falling from the lorry. The motorway remains open. Police are attending. Drive with extra care if in the area.”
