Delays expected during Newtownabbey resurfacing works

Motorists are advised that a section of the O’Neill Road in Newtownabbey is closed for resurfacing works.

The lane closure is operating from Doagh Road Roundabout to Knockenagh Road.

A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The closure is required daily for resurfacing works.

“An alternative route is Doagh Road -B90 - Prince Charles Way.”

The work is being carried out by a DfI Roads contractor.

Road users are advised to expect an estimate delay of five-15 minutes.

The work is due to be completed by 6pm on Friday, October 30.
