‘Disruptive train passengers’ causing delays for commuters in Newtownabbey

A Northern Ireland Railways service between Belfast and Portrush is currently delayed in Newtownabbey due to “disruptive passengers.”

Commenting on the issue, a Translink spokesperson said: “Due to disruptive passengers the 10.10am from Belfast Great Victoria Street to Portrush is currently being delayed at Mossley West.

“Delays can be expected on the Londonderry line in both directions.”

There are no further details at this time.
