Elderly man dies in Armoy collision
An elderly man has died after being involved in a road traffic collision near Armoy.
It is understood the man, who was from the area, had been walking along the Drones Road just outside the village at around 6pm last night.
He was taken to Causeway Hospital in a critical condition but later died, according to a spokesperson for the Northern Health Trust.
North Antrim DUP MLA Mervyn Storey said he was deeply saddened. “He was very well known and respected in the area.”
