Fountain Hill blocked by car
The unexpected snowfall caused traffic chaos across Londonderry earlier today.
More snow is forecast overnight, and as much as six centimetres is expected on land over 500m high.
Just before lunchtime reports started flooding in of car accidents in hillyareas of the city, including Shepherds Mountain and in the Waterside.
In one incident Fountain Hill was blocked by a small black hatchback which slid sideways on the treacherous road surface.
