Glenavy man dies in NZ crash

A 30-year-old Glenavy man has died following a crash in New Zealand.

Paul Nelson was driving a Toyota Pick-up when it and a freight truck collided in the Canterbury region of New Zealand’s south island.

The crash happened on a highway south of the town of Ashburton at about 8.30pm on Monday.

He had moved to New Zealand in November.

Mr Nelson is survived by his father John, mother Margaret, brother David and sisters Therese and Catrina.

Funeral details have not been made public.
