Lanes reopen following M2 vehicle fire
Motorists are advised that traffic has “returned to normal” following an earlier vehicle fire on the M2 motorway.

The Times reported this morning that diversions were in place after a section of the M2 was closed following the incident near Sandyknowes.

Providing an update, a Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “All lanes have now been re-opened following an earlier vehicle fire.
“Traffic flows have returned to normal.”
