Man killed in bike crash from Ballymena
The 39 year old motorcyclist who died following a road traffic collision on the Shanes Hill Road in Larne on Saturday has beened named locally as Mr. Ronnie Gillespie from Gracehill, near Ballymena.
The accident occurred at approximately 11am on Saturday 13 July.
Police believe that the deceased was riding a Suzuki motorcycle in the direction of Larne when he was in collision with a Renault Scenic car in the area of Killwaughter some 3 miles outside the town.
Police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Shanes Hill Road this morning to contact them at Larne PSNI Station on 0845 600 8000.
