New Lisburn – Belfast bus service launched

Translink is launching a new service to enhance connections between Lisburn and Belfast.

Ulsterbus service 103c will launch on Monday April 12, with six daily return services Monday-Friday between Lisburn Bus Centre and the Colin Connect facility on Stewartstown Road via Ballymacash Shops, Thaxton Village Roundabout and Milltown, helping to improve transport connections between growing population centres in Lisburn and Colin Connect, with onward connections to Belfast city centre and Dundonald via G1 Glider services.

David Curry, Translink General Manager, Bus Services, said: “Translink is delighted to be able to introduce Ulsterbus service 103c from April 12 onwards to provide weekday routes between Lisburn and Colin Connect, with onward connections to Belfast city centre and beyond.

“I am also glad that we have been able to enhance our offering to growing suburban areas in Lisburn, helping to build the habit of sustainable transport and forge stronger links between the two cities, as well as connecting Lisburn city with other areas within the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area via Glider services from Colin Connect.

“Better times lie ahead, and Translink services will be vital as we return to normal, helping to connect communities and people with employment, education, healthcare, retail and leisure opportunities and restoring vibrancy to our town and city centres and other districts.”
