'No right turn' reminder in Carrick town centre

A post on the Police Mid & East Antrim Facebook page read: "The sign in the middle of the picture is at the entrance to Market Place in Carrickfergus.

"We have been out today reminding motorists that a ‘no right turn’ sign means you cannot turn right.

"It seems not everyone is aware of this particular sign. We gave advice and guidance to a few drivers, but if people continue to breach this traffic sign unfortunately we will have to issue fines."

Last month, traffic attendants were asked to concentrate on Market Place in response to parking and speeding in the pedestrian zone.
