Number of Carrick bus services cancelled due to ‘operational issues’

Commuters are being advised of some Translink bus cancellations between Carrickfergus, Kilroot, Whitehead and Belfast today (Friday) due to “operational issues.”

Detailing the issue, a Translink spokesperson said: “Due to operational issues, there are some 563 cancellations today between Belfast, Kilroot, Carrickfergus and Whitehead.

“The cancelled services today will hopefully be the last as drivers returning from sick.

“The impacted services are the 563 Whitehead to Belfast (7am), 563 Kilroot to Belfast (8.47am), 563 Belfast to Kilroot (9.50am), 563 Kilroot to Belfast (12.23pm), 563 Belfast to Kilroot (1.30pm), 563 Kilroot to Belfast (2.51pm), 563 Belfast to Kilroot (3.55pm), 563 Carrick to Belfast (3.45pm), 563 Belfast to Kilroot (5.20pm) and 169 Whitehead to Browns Bay (8.10am).”
