In a statement issued to the Newtownabbey Times, a Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesperson said: “Police are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision in the Mallusk Road area of Newtownabbey.
"There are no further details at present.”
Commenting on the incident, Macedon Ulster Unionist Party Councillor Robert Foster stated: “There has been a road traffic accident in Mallusk facing Ballyrobert Cars.
“Avoid the area.”
