Police at scene of north Belfast security alert
Police are currently in attendance at a security alert in the Cedar Avenue area of north Belfast following the discovery of a suspicious object.

A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “Diversions are in place at the junctions with Cavehill Road and Vancouver Drive. Please avoid the area.”
A PSNI spokesperson stated: “Police have responded to a security alert in the Cavehill area of north Belfast. There are a number of road closures and police hope to have this dealt with within the next few hours.”
