Road traffic accident
Police are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision on the Buncrana Road in Londonderry last night, Monday, October 7.
Shortly after 8.30pm it was reported that a collision had occurred between a car and a male pedestrian. The 17 year old male pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are described as serious. The Buncrana Road has now reopened to traffic.
Police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Buncrana Road around this time to contact them at Strand Road Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
