Section of Antrim Road closed for works

Motorists are advised that a section of the Antrim Road in Newtownabbey is closed for works.

The lane closure, which commenced at 9.30am today (Thursday, July 30), is operating from 50m west to 150m west of Sentry Lane.

The closure is required continuoulsy for the replacement of a decaying BT pole.

A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said the work is being carried out by BT.

Road users are advised to expect an estimated delay of up to five minutes.

The work is set to be completed by 4pm today.
