Section of M2 to be closed for emergency repairs

Motorists are advised that a section of the M2 southbound will be closed for works overnight.

The lane closure, which will commence at 11pm tonight (Wednesday, August 5), will operate from Junction 2 Greencastle off-slip to Junction 2 on-slip.

A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The closure is required overnight only for emergency telephone repairs.”

The work is being conducted by a DfI Roads contractor.

Road users are advised to expect an estimated delay of up to five minutes.

The work is set to be completed by 6am on Thursday, August 6.
