Speed restriction in place due to ladders on M2

Motorists are being advised to approach the Sandyknowes junction of the M2 northbound with caution due to a set of ladders on the motorway.

Commenting on the issue, a Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “On the M2 northbound before/around J4 Sandyknowes there are ladders on outer lane. Approach with extra care until PSNI Road Policing officers get this checked out. A 40mph speed restriction is in place in area.”
