Traffic control in operation during Ballyclare works

Motorists are advised that a section of the Ballynure Road in Ballyclare is closed for works.

The lane closure, which commenced at 9.30am today (Monday, September 21), is operating from Woodland Rise to the entrance of Ballyclare Gospel Hall.

A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The closure is required continuously for five water connections and a sewer connection.

“Traffic control using traffic lights will be in operation.”

The work is being carried out by a NI Water contractor.

Road users are advised to expect an estimated delay of up to five minutes.

The work is set to be completed by 4.30pm on Friday, October 2.
