Witnesses sought after collision outside Ulster University Jordanstown

Police have launched an appeal for information following a road traffic collision in the Shore Road area of Newtownabbey.

Detailing the incident in a post on social media today (Tuesday), a PSNI spokesperson said: “On Sunday morning, my colleague and I came across what appeared to be the scene of a road traffic collision on the Shore Road, at the entrance to the Ulster University.

“There was substantial damage to the railings and signpost. Unfortunately, whoever caused this has failed to remain at the scene or report it.

“If anyone witnessed this or can shed some light on how this occurred, please contact us on 101 and quote CC701 of 02/08/20.”
