Woman cut free from car in Lurgan

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being cut free from her car by the NI Fire and Rescue Service tonight (Thursday)

The Fire Service were called to the two vehicle road traffic accident at the Eastway near Tannaghmore Gardens at around 9.30pm tonight.

District Commander Victor Spence told the MAIL the 37-year-old woman was freed from the vehicle within 15 minutes of the crew’s arrival.

It is understood the woman suffered back and leg injuries and was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital.

Two men in the other vehicle escaped uninjured.
