Trapped woman rescued

Fire crews responded to a report of a child in a wheel chair which had fallen down a ditch, on Tuesday morning around 9am.

The woman was trapped under the wheel chair at Carson Lane.

Firefighters used telescopic equipment and manual handling techniques to rescue the woman.

She suffered shock and cold.

The casualty was checked over by ambulance personnel at the scene. Fire crew from Lisburn station attended the incident.
