Travel arrangements for Co. Tyrone twelfth demonstrations

The PSNI have issued a number of traffic and travel arrangements for the annual twelfth of July celebrations this weekend.

Annual 12th July demonstration will be held in Dungannon. Those attending the event are asked to arrive early as the roads will close from 11.45am. Parking will be available in the Orange Field off the Moy Road.

The parade will move at 12 mid day and makes its way around Dungannon Town before entering the demonstration field at Tunnel Lodge.

Belfast Bound Traffic will be diverted at the Circular Road / Killyman Road Junction and they should travel via Killyman Village. Drivers should allow extra time to complete their journey safely and on time.

Cookstown and Dungannon Town Centre bound traffic will be diverted at Far Circular Road. They will be diverted via Killyman Road and Circular Road.

No Waiting cones will be placed by police and everyone is asked to comply with these as enforcement action may be taken

Police wish to advise Street Traders wishing to do so along the route that they must have a Street Traders License and should make contact with the organisers of the event.

Also in Co Tyrone, Annual 12th July demonstration will be held in Ballygawley. Those attending the event are asked to arrive early as the roads will close from 12.00 mid day. Parking will be available through out Ballygawley. The parade will move off from Old Omagh Road at 12 mid day and makes its way to the demonstration field on the Old Dungannon Road.

The main two roundabouts at Ballygawley will not be affected during this parade. No Waiting cones will be placed by police and everyone is asked to comply with these as enforcement action may be taken.

The West Tyrone Annual 12th July demonstration will be held in Omagh. There will be no parking along the left hand side of Campsie Road from the junction of Drumragh Avenue to the Swinging Bars Roundabout (Texaco Side) and in High Street from junction of Bridge Street to Foundry Lane. No Waiting cones and Double yellow line restrictions must be complied with. Disabled parking will be at suitable locations along the route and in Dunnes Car park.

Omagh - Derry Traffic will not be affected but drivers should allow extra time to complete their journey safely and on time. Ballygawley - Cookstown or Gortin traffic will be diverted at Omagh Meats and travel along the Bankmore Road, New Hospital Link Road, Donaghanie Road and Hospital Road.
