Travellers site granted extension
A FIVE-YEAR extension has been granted for the Travellers’ site to the rear of Moylinn House.
The halting site has been given temporary planning permission for eight pitches and eight steel pod showering units to extend from February 22, 2012 to February 22, 2017.
No objections were submitted to the proposal.
The decision by the Planning Service to allow the extension was ratified by Craigavon Council at Monday night’s meeting.
DUP Councillor Robert Smith commented: “I would like to record my disappointment at this decision.
“This has been going on for a number of years and we’re no further on.”
