Travelwise initiative aims to promote group cycling events
TRAVELWISE NI is urging local cycling enthusiasts to get their thinking caps on and 'get on their bikes' in record numbers.
The Department for Regional Development initiative is encouraging people interested in cycling to organise local events during ‘Two Wheels: Two Weeks’ - a fortnight of biking activity set to run from 13 - 27 June.
Local authorities can apply for a share of 40,000 worth of funding which being made available for regional cycling events.
