Tree-mendous recycling opportunities for residents

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council is giving residents some festive recycling tips to make sure their Christmas clear-up doesn’t cost the earth!

If you have a real tree, you can recycle it by chopping it up and putting it into your brown bin, or by taking the full tree to one of the council’s five recycling centres.

You can also help reduce waste by recycling your glass bottles and jars (with lids and caps left on), or use rechargeable batteries rather than disposable ones.
