Triangle Parishes Project summer scheme success

SINCE 2005 the Triangle Parishes Project has seen hundreds of young people involved in programmes including prayer groups and social justice initiatives.

From cross community programmes to charity trips the project has sought to engage young people with their faith and has done this with great success.

One of these programmes has been our annual Summer Scheme run by volunteers for 4-11 year olds. This year eighty bright, vibrant and talented young people participated in the project.

The week involves a range of activities including games, arts and crafts, music, dancing and sports and is a fun and positive environment for children to make new friends and develop their confidence.

A spokesperson told The Times: “Triangle Parishes Project comes to an end this July and we are proud to say that the Summer Scheme as its final big event was an amazing success.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have made these opportunities possible and especially our dedicated volunteer team, without whom none of this would be possible.”
