Tribute as Electoral Office employeepasses away

Mrs Mason was deputy returning officer at Banbridge Electoral Office, and was responsible for the Upper Bann constituency among others.

Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson said that like many people across Upper Bann she was deeply saddened to hear of her death.

“While fully focused on her job as a serious professional, Amanda always had the time to deal with any queries,” she said.

“Alongside her team she conducted her role at the Electoral Office with professionalism, humour and dedication to duty – she always had time for people.”

She is survived by her husband John and wider family circle.
