Tributes are paid to former councillor

LARNE Borough Council has paid tribute to a former member, who passed away recently.

Cllr Winston Fulton said his late DUP colleague, John Alexander, had served as deputy mayor during his own term as mayor.

He added that Mr Armstrong had first proposed constructing the scenic path between Drains Bay and Carnfunnock Country Park which had “turned out to be one of the great success of this area”.
