Tributes paid to Dr. Theo Laverty
MOYLE councillors have paid tribute to former councillor Theo Laverty who passed away recently following an illness.
Council Chairperson, Independent Price McConaghy, said he wished to express sympathy in connection with all who died in the area recently but especially Mr Laverty whom he described as “a very well respected councillor”.
Other councillors wished to be associated with the remarks, including the SDLP’s Madeline Black.
Independent councillor Seamus Blaney said Mr Laverty’s funeral was one of the largest in the area.
