Tributes paid to former Ballyclare High teacher

Principal, Dr Michelle Rainey said: “I can tell you for sure, Mr Martin had a deep sense of vocation, he had compassion, he determined to put everyone else first.

“He committed fulsomely to serve us, staff and pupils, to bring the best out of each of us for mutual benefit. It will be that humanity and example which will be remembered for generations when he is spoken of in Ballyclare High.”

Trevor was a loving and devoted father to Richard, Ashley and Craig and dearly-beloved husband of Carol.

His funeral service was held in Ballycraigy Congregational Church on Thursday, March 9, before interment in Ballyclare Cemetery.
