Tributes to Tessie

Tessie - who ran a popular bar along the seafront - passed away following a short illness at the age of 74.

At a council meeting last week Cara McShane described Tessie as “a renowned character throughout Moyle”.

The high regard in which Tessie was held was demonstrated by the large turnout at her funeral, said councillor McShane.

She added: “She was the Mayoress of Moyle.”

Her sentiments were echoed by all other members of the council.
