Trinity Methodist invites local community to celebrate Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

ON Sunday June 3, Trinity Methodist Church and Community Venue will be hosting a special celebration to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The event will take the form of a Street Party and Fun Day, held in the grounds of the church buildings on the Knockmore Road.

The festivities will commence with a traditional Street Party style lunch at 12.30pm. This will then be followed by activities and entertainment until 4pm, including a bouncy castle, inflatable fun slide, children’s crafts, traditional games and lots more.

There will also be family entertainment at 2.30pm with Magic George, a fun filled show packed with laughs, surprises and watch out for George’s monkey, Geoffrey.

The Street Party and Fun Day will be free of charge and is open to all the community. If the weather is bad the event will be held in the Church building, so there is no reason to stay away.

The Fun Day is supported by Lisburn City Council’s Community Celebration Grants scheme and some local businesses.
