Triplets mark50th birthday

Aileen, Mairead and Sean at their 50th birthday party.

Mairead, Aileen and Sean McStay were born 50 years ago, at home at 1 Island View, Kinnego to Dan and Eileen McStay on July 26, 1964.

The trio of arrivals was a complete surprise to the family at the time and the Lurgan Mail printed a photo of them for their first birthday.

Now, 49 years on, we’ve captured the triplets on camera again at the Bay Hall in Derrytrasna.

The party was enjoyed by a large group of family and friends and managed to raise £1050 for charity to be split between Chest Heart and Stroke and the Southern Area Hospice.
