Trocaire launchesLenten campaign
Trocaire boxes ahave been delivered the length and breadth of Co. Derry for the annual Lenten campaign to raise funds for some of the poorest people in the world.
Last year people in the couny helped to raise over £513,000 to support Trocaire’s campaign through the Diocese of Derry.
Eithne McNulty, Director of Trocaire in Northern Ireland, said: ““The people of Co. Derry have always supported Trocaire’s work. The donations from across the county last year provided relief and support to families and communities living in some of the poorest places on earth.”
