Trophy joy for Boro Boys

HILLSBOROUGH Boys Under 10’s travelled to Wilgar Park Belfast, home of Dundela FC recently to compete in the George Best Castlereagh Youth League ‘Mayors Cup Final’.

The final against local rivals Lisburn Distillery was a tense, hard fought game that eventually saw Hillsborough Boys run out 3-2 winners with goals from Jack Bradford, Adam Clarke and James Mahaffey.

The game was a fantastic advert for the junior game and both sets of players’ were roundly applauded by the large crowd who had travelled to support.
