True colours!
The Antrim based company stepped in to help Praxis Care Rainbow Lodge in Ballymena.

Hide AdFor a number of years the company has taken part in a range of activities such as Blood Drives, fundraising activities and staff volunteer days.
And on September 20, Blackbourne staff arrived at the Lodge to volunteer as part of Business in the Community’s ‘Cares Environment Day NI’.
Three members of Blackbourne staff took time out to carry out general gardening, power washing and cleaning activities at the Lodge. A respite care unit for children with learning disabilities, it also has eight beds which support children from up to 30 families.

Hide AdPraxis Care is a charity based in Northern Ireland which provides a range of accommodation and support services such as domiciliary care or supported living.
Damien Neeson Team Leader at Rainbow lodge said: “They have made an important contribution towards making and keeping the play environment cleaner, safer and tidier for all the children.”
Giles Hill, a Blackbourne Director who volunteered to take part in the day, also said: “It was an extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved.”
