Trust praises health workers from Lisburn

There were plenty of congratualtions at a recent awards ceremony.

A team from Lagan Valley Hospital and a therapist who runs fluency clinics for children in Lisburn Health Centre are the two winners in the Trust’s 2016 Safety Quality Experience programme.

The winners of the Acute section were Ward 14 Lagan Valley Hospital for their project ‘A Frailty Pathway’.

Ryan Murray, Dr Rosemary Kelly, Pauline Allen, and June Cairns collected the award on behalf of the Ward.

The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust also offered congratulations to Speech & Language Therapist Laura Knott, who received her award from Trust Chairman Colm McKenna for her project ‘On The Right Path’ in the non-acute section.

The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust’s Safety Quality Experience programme is now in its fifth year.

The SQE programme ensures staff embed ‘Safety, Quality, and the Patient Experience’ in everything they do.
