Trust staff attend careers convention

Over 50 exhibitors from industry, further education colleges, universities and training organisations were on hand to talk to over 1200 of the city’s teenagers about their future options.

At the event Trust staff were on hand from several vocational areas including Nursing, Physiotherapy, Radiology, Occupational Therapy, Midwifery and also Volunteering to give advice to students about possible future careers or volunteering opportunities, which they will then be able to further pursue with the support of their Careers Teachers.

A spokesperson for the Trust said: “The staff who participated in these careers conventions did an excellent job and made the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust an employer of first choice with our future workforce.”
